Annual Convention
South Dakota Florists Association hosts their annual convention where nationally recognized and midwestern designers show off their design skills throughout the weekend convention and offer current perspectives on trends, design and business. Hands-on design classes are offered throughout the weekend. Member florists are encouraged to test their design skills and compete in design competitions including Student Level 1 (1-3 years experience), Level 2 (3-5 years experience), Pasque (5+ years experience) and Doug Hesnard Design for Excellence (experienced designers). The convention features a vendor fair where florists are able to visit booths set up by area wholesalers and vendors. The annual board of directors meeting and annual meeting are also part of our exciting weekend.
Membership Directory
The membership directory is published yearly and features the names, addresses and additional shop information of all the florists in SDFA. The membership directory is a handy “guide book” of all the SDFA member florists. It will become a valuable resource in your shop.

Nomination Form | Applications Due January 31st
The SDFA Hall of Fame recognizes career accomplishments, achievements, awards and community service, and service to SDFA and the floral community. This programs provides the opportunity for members of SDFA to nominate members in good standing, who have made outstanding contributions to SDFA and the floral industry.
